2025 has been a year of major progress across our digital products. From streamlining project setup to giving your productions more control over workflows, our teams focused on building features that save you time, reduce errors, and put flexibility back in your hands.  

Throughout the year, we introduced powerful updates like cross-project PSL+ reporting in Reporting+, allowance cap tracking in Hours+, and support for international timekeeping and onboarding. And in fall/winter, we closed the year with some of our most requested updates yet.

Onboarding

Start+ Setting To Enable International Flat Deals: Apply international flat deals to new projects with a dedicated Project Onboarding setting for Start+

Timekeeping

Allowance Cap Tracking in Hours+: Payroll Accountants can now track allowance caps with a new Hours+ widget that displays all payments across Hours+ and non-Hours+ timecards, automatically populates caps entered in Start+, and allows manual updates for future deals (Learn more ) 

Instant Deals: Get faster, smoother workflows with offers sent in Start+ now appearing instantly in Hours+ 

International Onboarding and Timekeeping: LA-based crews on global projects can now be onboarded and paid under international terms, with Timekeeping streamlining these deals through simplified in and out time entry 

Self-Service Approval Workflows and Departments: Trusted users with Workflow Admin permissions in Hours+ can now create and manage approval workflows, departments, and invoice templates, with more details in the Hours+ for Admins course (Learn more in the Hours+ for Admins course) 

Accounting

New Pcard Option: Easily send global payments with the new Eved integration in PSL+, now supporting international payments and multiple currencies

Reporting

PSL+ Reports: New, instant, self-service access to essential PSL+ Reports in Reporting+ for time-saving capabilities  

MyCast&Crew

Redesigned New Account and Direct Deposit Workflows: A faster, more secure, and user-friendly experience for account and direct deposit setup (Check out the new look and feel in our videos: Direct Deposit | Account Registration) 

MyCast&Crew: Crew members gain quicker access to earnings with opt-in email notifications that alert them as soon as new pay stubs are available, improving record-keeping and reducing delays in reviewing payment details 

Secure File Transfer

Studio+ Auditing: The auditing process is clearer and more transparent, with coordinator and approver comments plus attached documents now accessible directly in Edit Report PDFs

Onboarding

• More Control in Start+: Add or remove non-employee users in seconds—no support ticket needed. The new “Can manage users” permission puts control in your hands, keeping projects moving without delay. 
  
  
  
• Edit Approval Workflows in Start+: Need to adjust who approves what? The “Can manage workflows” permission lets you update approval paths in Start+ instantly, cutting setup time and giving you the flexibility to adapt as projects evolve.
  
  
• Start+ Filtering & Sorting Enhancements: Stay focused and save time with filters that remember your preferences across sessions on the managing offers, approvals, or I-9 review pages so you can pick up right where you left off
