Over more than 25 years in the industry, Jodi has watched companies evolve, technologies transform, and the business of entertainment continue to grow in new directions. Through every chapter, one thing has remained constant.
The people.
Jodi's journey began in 1999 at Media Services, where she served as Director of Sales. From there, she built her career across several entertainment payroll companies before joining CAPS, where she became a trusted leader in the commercial production space.
When Cast & Crew acquired CAPS in 2016, Jodi became part of the organization she still calls home today.
"It's funny how now I'm back with Media Services all these years later," she says.
Since joining Cast & Crew, Jodi's role has continued to evolve. While commercials have always been her specialty, her responsibilities have expanded as the company has grown. Along the way, she's helped build teams, mentor colleagues, and strengthen a division that continues to support productions across the industry.
Jodi has always felt that leadership means investing in people. Throughout her career, she's taken pride in helping talented individuals grow, whether by bringing new teammates into the organization or creating opportunities for them to succeed.
That commitment extends beyond building teams. It also means helping shape the future of the business itself.
One moment that stands out came when Jodi recognized the industry's growing need for a digital production solution. After connecting company leadership with the founders of an emerging technology company, Cast & Crew expanded its digital capabilities with a platform that continues to serve customers today.
Jodi sees it as an opportunity to help the company stay ahead of where the industry was headed. While technology continues to evolve, she believes Cast & Crew's greatest strength has always been its workforce.
Over the years, Jodi has built lasting relationships with colleagues who have become trusted teammates and friends. Some have worked alongside her for decades, while others are people she’s recruited and mentored throughout their careers.
"What keeps me here is the people," she says.
Those relationships have created a culture where success is shared, collaboration comes naturally, and coworkers genuinely want to see one another grow.
That spirit is especially important in an industry that never stands still. As entertainment continues to evolve, Jodi believes the greatest opportunities come from staying positive, embracing change, and continuing to move forward together.
"I look at it differently," she says. "This is time to grow."
