We’re pleased to share that Cast & Crew Live Entertainment, in partnership with Checks & Balances, is proud to co-sponsor the National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT), a not-for-profit organization dedicated to nurturing the development, production, and innovation of new musicals. Founded in 1985, NAMT supports musical theatre creators through festivals, conferences, grants, and a vibrant network of producers, theaters, and educators.
Joining forces with Checks & Balances and NAMT enables us to support this community of creators and producers at a critical moment. Cast & Crew brings expertise in payroll, accounting, and workforce management tailored to live entertainment—enabling smoother production processes so artists and organizers can focus on creativity and impact.
NAMT’s core mission is to serve as a catalyst for musical theatre’s future—bringing writers and producers together through programs like the Festival of New Musicals, which has introduced hundreds of new works and writers to the industry with over 85% advancing to readings, workshops, or productions. Through its conferences, grants like the Frank Young Fund for New Musicals, and roundtables, NAMT fosters collaboration, equitable representation, and creative advancement.
