ReFrame, a collaboration between Sundance Institute and Women in Film, recently endorsed 94 out of the top 200 TV shows of the 2022-2023 season. These endorsed programs prioritize diversity by ensuring at least 50% representation of women and underrepresented groups in key roles, both on and off screen. Extra recognition goes to shows achieving gender parity throughout their production, including hiring women of color in significant positions. Notable awardees of the stamp include Abbott Elementary, The Bear, and Yellowjackets.

This collaboration marks a substantial industry leap, fostering future prospects for widespread utilization of audience-focused, first-party data in advertising.

Special Events on the Big Screen: Distributor Fathom Expands Offerings 
Denver-based distributor Fathom Events, renowned for bringing live performances to cinemas, is poised for expanded endeavors. Collaborating with The Metropolitan Opera since 2006, their recorded shows amassed $205 million at the box office. Fathom now ventures into original films' theatrical releases, such as an upcoming feature by the Duck Dynasty's Robertson family.

Co-Producing Television: Council of Europe To Open Pilot Program for Submissions 
Eurimages, renowned for enhancing films via co-productions, now extends its impact as the Council of Europe initiates a three-year series co-production pilot program. Project submissions commence next month, with a €21m investment spanning 2023 to 2025. Operating alongside Eurimages, this sister program offers grants of €250,000 and €500,000 to producers, tailored to project budgets.
