Top Titles of 2023: Nielsen Reveals Streaming Numbers 
In 2023, Ted Lasso claimed the title of the most-watched streaming original TV show with 16.9 billion minutes across 24 episodes. However, Suits surpassed this, becoming the most-streamed show of the year with 57.7 billion viewing minutes, maintaining a presence on the Nielsen charts for 12 consecutive weeks.

Lights, Camera, Rome: Filming in the Italian Captiol 
Rome is enjoying a film production revival, with hits like the newest Mission: Impossible and Oscar-nominated Io Capitano filling Cinecitta film studios to capacity. Mayor Roberto Gualtieri credits this success to a robust tax credit, expanded studio space, and simplified permissions for intricate shoots. Additionally, Gualtieri is prioritizing environmental sustainability, aiming for carbon neutrality, while also investing in infrastructure, cultural initiatives, and training programs to further bolster the city's film industry.

Diversity in the Recording Studio: Music Industry Sees Increase in Representation 
USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative partnered with Spotify for its 2023 annual report on diversity in recording studios. Positive trends include a consistent rise in women's presence in the music industry, with a noteworthy increase in solo female artists on the Billboard Hot 100 Year-End Chart. However, women still occupy less than a quarter of artist roles.

Crew Unions Prepare for Negotiations: Joint Bargaining To Take Place in 2024 
Major Hollywood crew unions IATSE and the Hollywood Basic Crafts coalition (including Teamsters Local 399) will jointly negotiate health and pension benefits with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. Talks commence on March 4, marking the first collaboration for shared plans since 1988.
