Concord Grants Music Rights: Outfest Initiative for Underrepresented Filmmakers 
Concord's latest Outfest initiative grants access to its music library for up-and-coming LGBTQIA+ filmmakers of color. Three short films, premiered at the festival, showcased creative use of popular songs from Concord's catalog. Through a competitive process, three pitches were selected, and Concord provided financing and support for these outstanding films.

Milestone Coverage: Record Breaking Airtime for FIFA Women’s World Cup 
Fox Sports is set to make history with the most extensive coverage of the FIFA Women’s World Cup ever. From July 20 to August 20, Fox Sports 1 will air 64 matches, totaling approximately 190 hours of live soccer programming. Additionally, expect pre- and post-game shows and other soccer-inspired content to enhance the viewing experience. Don't miss the U.S. national team's quest for a third consecutive victory.

Italy’s Production Tax Credit: Government Aims To Reform Program 
Italy's 40% tax credit has become a magnet for international shoots, supporting over 800 projects last year. Deputy culture minister Lucia Borgonzoni aims to enhance the program's appeal by reforming it to attract higher quality projects and budgets of €1.5m. Clearer rules will ensure high-quality productions qualify, featuring more Italian talent, and potentially securing additional funding from the Culture Ministry.

Competition in Sarajevo: Film Festival Prepares for 29th Edition 
Mark your calendars: the Sarajevo Film Festival will take place from August 11 to 18 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Feature Film Competition will showcase 11 titles, including world premieres of Austrian-Iranian film Europa and Greek film Medium. Get ready for an exciting lineup of 49 films competing for the coveted title of "Heart of Sarajevo."
