New Financing in Europe: €141 Million in Funding for Creative Sector 
The European Commission and EIF have signed agreements in France, Germany, and Finland to provide €141 million for the film, TV, and creative sectors. Supported by the InvestEU Cultural and Creative Portfolio Guarantee, this initiative helps European producers pursue ambitious projects, remain globally competitive, and access financial loans.

Supporting Disabled Creators: New Fellowship by The Inevitable Foundation 
The Inevitable Foundation, supported by Netflix's Fund for Creative Equity, is launching the Visionary Fellowship for disabled filmmakers. This year-long program offers each fellow $55,000 for production, living expenses, health insurance, and access needs, along with mentorship, workshops, and industry networking opportunities.

StreamSaver Is Here: Comcast Launches New Bundle 
StreamSaver, a new bundle for Xfinity broadband customers, includes Apple TV+, Netflix's ad tier, and Peacock for $15 a month, with an optional addition of Comcast's NOW TV package for an extra $15. Comcast touts 30% savings for customers and benefits for its partners, but the primary goal is to strengthen its broadband operations amid competition and a slight decline in subscribers.

Eastern Europe’s Largest Film Festival Returns: Karlovy Vary Announces Lineup 
The 58th Karlovy Vary Film Festival in the Czech Republic will feature 32 films, including 15 directorial debuts and works by established filmmakers. Artistic director Karel Och highlighted themes such as a revisionist approach to period films, women's roles in contemporary society, and the global impact of political events.
