In 2023, Italian audiovisual productions exceeded €2 billion for the first time, reaching €2.04 billion. Despite an expected slowdown in 2024 due to tax credit changes, the sector continues to generate over €12 billion in total revenue, driven by TV.

Litmus Music has acquired Randy Newman's share of his music and publishing catalog, including iconic scores forToy Story and Monsters, Inc., and hits like "I Love L.A." Financial terms weren't disclosed, but Litmus, backed by Carlyle Group, has made similar deals with artists like Katy Perry and Keith Urban.
