Effective July 15, 2015 most California employers must provide paid sick leave to employees under California’s Healthy Workplace Healthy Family Act.
Production employers should use timecards to report and record all sick time requests.
Amongst other compliance duties, employers must make employees aware of their rights under the law. A sample “Notice of Employee Rights” is available here.
