*Bluey* Dominates Streaming in 2025   
The animated favorite Bluey topped all streaming titles in 2025 with 45.2 billion viewing minutes on Disney+, beating out Grey’s Anatomy and Stranger Things as total US streaming surged to a record 16.7 trillion minutes, up 19% from 2024.

**Streaming Set To Overtake Traditional TV Spending**   
Ampere Analysis forecasts that streaming platforms will outspend traditional broadcasters by 2028, as the industry pivots toward unscripted shows, live sports, and consolidation deals while fending off growing competition from YouTube and AI-generated content.

Emmys Reshape Variety Categories   
The Television Academy has combined the best scripted variety series and best talk series into a single best variety series Emmy, using an “area award” system with proportional nominee slots that allows for multiple winners if entries reach a 90% approval threshold.

**American Film Market Returns to LA in 2026**   
The American Film Market will take place at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles from November 10–15, 2026, continuing its return home after a well-received 2025 event that followed an unpopular move to Las Vegas in 2024.
