Cast & Crew Announces Leadership Change to Support Next Phase of Technology and Innovation-Led Growth
Burbank, California, January 7, 2025 – Cast & Crew, a leading provider of entertainment production technology and services, announced that John Berkley, CEO, will step down from his role as the company enters its next phase of growth. Eric Belcher, Cast & Crew Vice Chairman who served as CEO of the company from 2011 through 2021, will serve as Interim CEO until the conclusion of the Board’s search for a long-term CEO.
Under Berkley’s leadership, Cast & Crew solidified its position as an essential partner to studios, production companies, and creative teams by delivering innovative software solutions that streamline production workflows and support the unique needs of the entertainment industry. During his eight-year tenure, Berkley guided the company through the COVID-19 pandemic and the recent writers’ and actors’ strikes, while also leading the company through a period of expansion and innovation. Berkley will remain a meaningful investor in the company moving forward.
