Return to Normal: French Box Office Stabilizes After Slow Start to 2024
In March, the French box office saw a slight improvement, selling 15 million tickets, driven by Warner Bros' Dune: Part Two. Despite this uptick, the first quarter of 2024 experienced a 10% drop in admissions compared to 2023 and a 23.7% decrease compared to pre-pandemic levels, partly due to the absence of major Hollywood releases.
