Our customer needed a digital timecard solution that would enable remote approval flows by department, as well as a secure method by which to submit documents directly to Cast & Crew.
Solution
By utilizing Hours+ for a remote digital timecard approval flow and Studio+ for secure transmission of payroll files, our customer saw improved efficiencies in several areas.
We worked with the customer to build department-specific payroll processes and implement auto-coding to track tax incentives, meal penalties, and automatically coding out various allowances. Studio+ also gave them the ability to manage payroll in different folders based on specified parts of production, helping their accountants strategically silo workloads while adding privacy to sensitive above-the-line payroll files.
