From manual imports to seamless sync
The integration directly connects purchase orders, chart of accounts, and vendors between the two systems. “If you're entering information in one, within a second you'll see it in the other system,” Thayer explained. For production accountants, this means no more duplicate data entry, fewer email approvals to chase, and less time spent on manual submissions.
Mobile access in real time
With approval flows automatically synced into PSL+, teams working across different locations gain instant visibility. Thayer noted that this matters most when timing is critical: “You’re out in the field, you need something to be approved so you can go ahead and make a purchase, what have you.”
Expanding with global payments
Cast & Crew has also partnered with Eved, a payment provider operating in more than 150 countries. Their prepaid Visa cards—virtual or physical—sync with PSL+ and allow productions to pay vendors in local currencies instantly. “They have a virtual or a physical card that you can use… those can be available pretty instantaneously and sent down, and syncs with our system,” Thayer said. The integration also supports vendor onboarding and tax documentation, saving productions time and reducing compliance risks.
Looking ahead
For Thayer, these integrations are just the beginning. “A lot of it is about more near real-time integrations, standardizing the integration process so that we can scale things quickly for clients.”
