We’re thrilled to introduce a range of enhancements launched in the last quarter. These updates are designed to simplify your workflow and provide a smoother, more intuitive experience on our platform. Here’s what’s new:
Smarter project management
- Allowance Cap Tracking in Hours+: Payroll Accountants can now track allowance caps with a new widget in Hours+, showing all payments made across Hours+ and non-Hours+ timecards, reducing manual errors. Caps entered in Start+ automatically populate, and changes to caps on future deals can be manually updated. Learn more here.
- Hot Cost Reports: Accountants can now enter a third budget option when generating a hot cost report. This is useful for situations where employees are still technically in the studio zone, but have a location shoot budgeted differently.
Faster payroll and onboarding
- Preview Documents in Start+: Hiring Managers can now see exactly how offer documents will appear before sending them, including loan-out details, ensuring accuracy while still being able to make edits
- Instant Deals: With Instant Deals, offers sent via Start+ are now immediately available in Hours+, streamlining workflows and saving valuable time
- Simplified PGA Onboarding: Easier validation on PGA union start paperwork with new default draft option
- SB 422 Compliance: Meet California ‘s SB 422 reporting requirements with two new fields in the MyCast&Crew US Loan-out profile section for crew. Learn more here.
- MyCast&Crew: Crew members can now opt-in to receive email notifications notifying them when new pay stubs are available in their MyCast&Crew portal—giving them faster access to their earnings, easier record-keeping, and fewer delays in reviewing payment details
Enhanced production accounting workflows
- DPO + PSL+: Streamline AP automation and improve payment document organization and validation with a new option to attach invoices
- Expanded P.O. Search: Find your P.O.s faster with search now expanded to include all P.O.s, not just flagged ones
- Faster P.O. Matching: Reduce manual entry and improve data clarity with a new filter option in the Matching screen
- PSL+ Reports: New, instant, self-service access to essential PSL+ Reports for time-saving capabilities
- New Pcard Options: Make global payments more easily with new Pcard options for international payments and currencies
