Promotion underscores CAPS’ focus on venues, music tours and live events industries
BURBANK, CA – Cast & Crew today announced the promotion of Todd Dyer to Vice President, Venues, Music Tours and Live Events, for CAPS Payroll, a Cast & Crew company. Cast & Crew is the premier provider of technology-enabled payroll and human resources, accounting and financial management, and workflow and productivity solutions to the entertainment industry.
Dyer has nearly 25 years’ experience as both an operator and business-development executive in the sports, entertainment, convention and special-events industries. In his role at CAPS, Dyer supports festival, venue and touring act clients, working closely with them to deliver CAPS’ employer-of-record (EOR) payroll services, including an efficient, digital and secure environment for staff onboarding, timekeeping, document storage and workers’ compensation/medical insurance.
Prior to joining CAPS in 2014, his experience includes founding partner and senior vice president at Evolution 365 Services, an international consulting firm to the sports, entertainment, convention and cultural-attraction industries; general manager, University of California, Riverside for Highlanders Sports Properties; director of business development at Aramark, the food service, facilities and uniform-services provider; national director of business development at Staff Pro, a crowd-management, event staffing and consulting company, and branch manager at Contemporary Services Corp., a crowd-management and security company.

Dyer has a bachelor’s degree from Old Dominion University.
