Virtual Voices: Ticketmaster Launches Global Livestream Ticketing Service
Amidst the pandemic, Ticketmaster has taken cues from Live Nation and launched its own global Livestream ticketing service, operating in over 10 languages and reaching fans in more than 180 countries. Having just launched in 2020, it has already experienced an explosion in virtual ticket sales after highly successful livestream shows by Niall Horan, RBD, Megan Thee Stallion, Mika, Glass Animals, Biffy Clyro, and Dermot Kennedy.

Safely Back on Set: Devotion Is the First Film Shot in Savannah With New Covid Protocols in Place
Crews began shooting a Korean War-era film titled Devotion this past week in Savannah, ending a months-long drought of film production that began when Covid brought filming to a screeching halt in early 2020. Production company Black Label Media said in a statement it expects to administer 10,000 virus tests for crew and extras during the two weeks of filming, while also taking other protective measures.

New York To Go Live Again: Governor Cuomo Says Large Venues Will Reopen This Month
On Thursday, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that large sports stadiums and entertainment arenas in New York will be able to open this month with limited capacity. Venues with a 10,000-person-or-more capacity will open on February 23. Attendance will be limited to 10% of capacity, and everyone will be required to produce a negative Covid test. The decision is expected to have its greatest impact on the sports industry.
